Yoga for Indigestion

 Indigestion is problem commonly faced nowadays not only by old or middle aged people but also by youngsters . It is just a minor problem on the first day but if you keep ignoring it  , it will surely become a headache for you .

What actually is Indigestion ?

It is a problem basically caused by acid reflux , when our stomach acid leaks back into our oesophagus and irritates its lining . It will cause burning feeling , pain and discomfort in your upper abdomen and feeling uncomfortable after eating .  

How is it caused ?

There are various reasons because of which indigestion occurs in the body :-

  • Smoking 
  • Overeating or eating too quickly
  • Consuming spicy , greasy or fatty foods.
  • Too much caffeine , alcohol or chocolate .
  • Consuming carbonated beverages.

etc . there are many reasons which can be the cause of indigestion .

 But is there any way to cure Indigestion ?


There could be some tips which would help you in getting back to normal health but they may or may not cure indigestion such as :-

  • Drinking warm water .
  • Avoiding various foods that are mentioned in the upper points .
  • Taking a warm bath or using a heating bag.
  • ginger , mint and various home remedies .

 Is that you have tried all remedies but nothing really worked out don’t get worried there is one solution to it which will not only cure the indigestion but will also help you to achieve calmness and relax your body  and the answer is Yoga .
