 If your joints keep on swelling , cause pain and stiffness then there is term for it which is called arthritis . Basically the inflammation of joints is called arthritis .

In india more than 180 people has been affected by arthritis and the count will increase in the upcoming years , as upcoming generation lack more in performing physical exercises .

  • Gout :- This type of arthritis occur when the level of uric acid becomes high in your body . It affects one joint at one time .

Diet can really help in arthritis as it not only reduces inflammation in the body but also help in the healing of tissues .


1. High salty foods

 Foods high in salts can make your arthritis worse by increasing the inflammation and joint pain . Eating high salt content can cause calcium loss from your bones , increases the risk of osteoporosis and fracture . Different soups , certain pizzas and cheese are high in salt content which should definitely be avoided . Alternatively , you can flavor your food with onion and garlic powder , with different herbs and spices , try seasoning mix without salt . doing this will definitely make your food tastier .


2. Alcoholic content

 Alcohol is something you have to restrict if you are suffering from arthritis . People suffering from spondyloarthritis ( a kind of arthritis that affect your spinal cord and your joints that connect your spine with lower body ) . Consuming alcohol can increase your spinal structural damage . Alcohol when enter your body , depletes your body of water and nutrients which worsen the arthritis by increasing inflammation .


3. Dairy products

 Dairy products should also be avoided if you are suffering from arthritis specifically in case of rheumatoid arthritis as they contain a high level of protein casein which increases the pain in your joints and even cause irritation around the joints . Also one more reason is that dairy products such as butter contain high amount of saturated fat can worsen your joint pain .


4. Processed foods

 In case if you have arthritis , consuming processed foods will have a bad affect on your body as a person having arthritis should intake healthy diet . whereas processed foods are oily foods and contain refined carbohydrates and unsaturated fats , which make you fat and might increase your arthritis by worsening the pain .


5. Too much sugary content

 Foods such as candies , sodas , ice cream , chocolates , brownies contain high amount of sugar  . Eating excess sugar produces more cytokines in your body which are inflammatory proteins , these proteins make your arthritis more bad . 
Foods such as gluten -containing foods , certain vegetable oils , fried foods , beverages , red meat should also be avoided . They are found to worsen your arthritis .
So here you go , just avoid these diets and little bit more precautions , soon you will conclude a normal , healthy life .
